The brainchild of the Center for African American Policy at the University of Denver (www.blackpolicy.org) in conjunction with the George Washington University's Institute for Politics, Democracy and the Internet (www.ipdi.org).

OUTBURST! is a multi-city interactive lecture series addressing some of the most pressing political and public policy issues impacting young voters.

OUTBURST! is also a fresh, new extension of "Blackpolicy.org" on XM Radio Channel 130 (P.O.T.U.S. '08) and Channel 169, a weekly political talk program. Hosts Peter C. Groff and Charles D. Ellison will translate their cutting-edge satellite radio format into an interactive, live, in-person forum staged at locations centered around the political party conventions and Presidential debate cities during the 2008 Presidential elections.

Using the latest social networking and real-time digital straw polling tools, the OUTBURST! Tour will facilitate candid discussion amongst leading thinkers, decision makers, public figures, entertainers and local political figures, hosted by Groff and Ellison.

OUTBURST! will go beyond problem identification and issues, beyond simply voter registration - OUTBURST! will educate citizens about the political process and how to participate in real, tangible ways: campaigning, lobbying, political action committees, legislative process, and so much more. OUTBURST! is more than just a verb - OUTBURST! is the SOLUTION!
